We do sell more than just used servers, but for our very first post, “New and Used Servers, Storage and Networking Hardware and Upgrades, New Blog: The Remarketer,” doesn’t quite have the right ring to it. Then again, it’s just you, me, some Vibrant staffers and my Mom reading this for now. Hi Mom.

We’ll work hard to increase our readership though with a unique perspective on the IT Industry. We’ll bring honest commentary, market insight and some fun articles and promotions inviting our clients, future clients and partners to the table.

Why The Remarketer?
Initially we were just going to call it “Vibrant Blog,” but we wanted something unique, descriptive and memorable. (And I kept thinking “Vibrant Blog” sounded too much like some crazy kid’s online journal.) We are a remarketer of IT products by trade, and that’s the perspective from which we’ll publish here.

The word “blog” itself has almost come to mean “journal” instead of its origins as a place to point to other sites and happenings online (as recently discussed on TWIT). While I certainly see us doing some of those things, I think we can take this further - making “blog” an inappropriate word to be included in the title.

Many Corporate CEOs use their blogs to counter the media, but our industry just doesn’t get that kind of coverage. We’re just hoping to provide something useful to our clients, organize our thoughts (which move at the speed of a growing small business) and engage in some valuable discussions.

So, here we are… The Remarketer.
