The Cisco UCS B22 M3 is a half-width blade well suited for a variety of IT workloads, including web and IT infrastructure, Web 2.0, distributed applications and workloads requiring balanced price-to-performance metrics.

Featuring two multi-core Intel Xeon processor E5-2400 CPU sockets, 12 DIMM slots, and two (optional) hot-pluggable SAS or SATA HDDs or SSDs, the Cisco B22 M3 provides a winning combination of features and cost effectiveness.

Up to eight Cisco UCS B22 M3 two-socket blade servers can reside in the 6RU Cisco UCS 5108 Blade Server Chassis. The Cisco B22 M3 enables the Cisco UCS 5108 chassis to eradicate in-chassis HBAs, NICs, and switches.

The saved power is redistributed to denser, more robust blade servers with more DIMM slots and greater per-blade performance when compared to alternative offerings.
