Part of the Cisco MDS 9000 Family of 4-Gbps Fibre Channel Switching Modules, the 12-port 4-Gbps Fibre Channel Switching Module is intended for even the most demanding storage networking environments. The high performance module features 4-Gbps ports providing up to 96 Gbps of full-duplex bandwidth. Its multiprotocol capability incorporates FICON protocol, FICON CUP management, and switch cascading to allow mainframe connectivity.
