Introduced in 2006, the Dell Equallogic PS3000 series extended the PS Series family beyond Equallogic’s core SATA-based product line, providing SAS-based arrays ideal for database and online transaction processing applications. The Dell PS3000 Series allows Equallogic’s SANs to be configured with multiple performance tiers under one management interface.
