The PowerEdge t420 is able to comfortably cope with high demanding applications, database and file sharing devices and has all the horsepower it takes to confidently replace old servers on the same platform.

Powered by E5-25oo Xeons, the Dell PowerEdge t420 which may come at a low cost but doesn’t disappoint. The Dell PowerEdge t420 comes with a low balanced power supplies, but you can always opt for the 495 Watt configurations if you’re lighter applications.

For robust graphic applications such as medical imaging and virtualization, the Dell PowerEdge t420 can be fitted with NVIDIA GPU cards, but these will require a power upgrade to 1100 Watts. An ideal choice for small offices and those with limited spaces, the Dell PowerEdge t420 uses a single 12cm diameter fan for all its cooling, and runs quietly in even 40 degree environments.

The Dell PowerEdge t420 is fitted with the iDRAC7 remote console, which has simplified upgrades as the system requires no additional hardware. The PowerEdge t420 makes an excellent choice for virtualization as well since Dell is the only manufacturer to offer Hypervisor Redundancy.
