The IBM Power6 P570 mid-range server takes full advantage of IBM’s new and powerful POWER6 processor cores. Starting with a base 4U module, the system can be expanded to include 4 modules configured as a single SMP server. POWER6 processor architecture allows users to run both 64-bit and 32-bit applications for added flexibility.
The Power 570 has optional advanced virtualization features allowing the operator to utilize system architecture at high levels of efficiency.
