The IBM eServer x460 features IBM eServer X3 Architecture, the third generation of mainframe-inspired IBM Enterprise X-Architecture technology. The IBM xSeries 460 delivers x64 performance with 64-bit memory addressability. It can run 32- and 64-bit applications simultaneously and supports high performance, dual-core 64-bit Intel Xeon Processors MP.
In a 3U form factor, the IBM x460 keeps internal components cool with IBM Calibrated Vectored Cooling. This model also offers XpandOnDemand scalability, which allows you to “pay-as-you-grow” with up to 32 processors.
