Known as a “big memory machine”, the SPARC M6-32 is Oracle’s largest scale server in the SPARC system portfolio. The SPARC M6-32 can host databases and applications entirely in system memory, making it ideal for large mission critical applications.

SPARC M6 processors offer twice the processor cores than previous generations, with up to 32 12-core, 3.6HBz SPARC M6 processors. Expandable to 32 processors, 32 TB of system memory, 32 internal disk storage devices, and 64 PCIe 3.0 I/O expansions slots, the SPARC M6-32 is well-prepared to meet mission-critical workload requirements now and in the future.

Most major components are redundant and hot-pluggable; other notable high-availability features include Dynamic Domains for hardware fault isolation and end-to-end ECC memory protection.
