A versatile server intended for middleware, business applications, and cloud optimized software, the Oracle Sun Server X3-2 delivers the perfect balance between power, memory capacity, and I/O capability.

LV DIMMs provide impressive application performance and power savings, and four onboard 10GBase-T ports increase network bandwidth and lower costs. The Sun Server X3-2 features a compact, 1U form factor and is powered by two Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v2 product family CPUs.

Customers can expect up to a 35 percent increase in performance over the previous generation server. Hot-swappable and redundant disks, cooling fans, and power supply units make servicing the Sun X3-2 simple.
