The Sun Blade X3-2B server module is a powerful enterprise-class blade server that is supported in the Sun Blade 6000 chassis. The Sun Blade X3-2B utilizes two Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 product family CPUs, supports up to 384GB of DDR3 Registered memory, and provides Oracle ILOM for secure local and remote management.

Boasting up to an 80 percent performance increase over its predecessor, the Sun Blade X3-2B server module is ready to run the most demanding virtualized and physical workloads. Compatible operating systems for the Sun Blade X3-2B include Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and Microsoft Windows Server.
