The Sun Server X4-2 System is a compact, energy efficient enterprise-class server that can deliver up to a 35 percent improvement in performance over its predecessor. In a 1U form factor, the X4-2 is considered to be the most versatile two-socket server for enterprise data centers.

It’s also a perfect choice for running middleware and enterprise business applications (CRM, ERP, SCM) in a virtualized environment. The Sun Server X4-2 is available in two chassis configurations and is scalable to 9.6TB of disk storage or 3.2TB of flash storage. With hot-swappable and redundant disks, cooling fans and power supply units, the Sun X4-2 maximizes efficiency and power savings.
