A 2U enterprise-class server, the Sun Server X4-2L system utilizes the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v2 product family to deliver outstanding performance. The Sun Server X4-2L is well-suited to virtualized business applications and clustered databases because of its strong performance and power efficiency as well as flash storage options that increase I/O performance and lower energy use.

Available in three flexible chassis configurations, the Sun Server X4-2L is scalable to 50.4TB of disk storage or 13.6TB of flash storage, and six PCIe 3.0 expansion slots. The Sun X4-2L also supports up to 512 GB memory capacity, allowing it to meet current and future requirements. A 50 percent increase in processor cores and threads over the previous generation Sun server boosts performance gains 35 percent.
