This is a fibre channel 1000Base-SX multifunction adapter. PCI-X 2 Gb is fully compatible with PCI 2.2 I/O slots and it supports the mass storage and ethernet connectivity requirements for HP 9000 and HP Integrity servers. It has high port density for I/O slot constrained systems and a better failover protection. The maximum transfer rate for fibre channel is 400MB/s full duplex and 200MB/s half duplex and for gigabit ethernet is 1000 Mbps. PCI bus speed is 133MHz on 64-bit. |
