The HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array 3000 (EVA3000) is a mid-range, high performance, high capacity and high accessibility "virtual" RAID storage solution.


This model enhances storage utilization and scalability, providing high transaction I/O and MB data rate performance, flawless capacity expansion, and instant replication.

  • VCS v4.0 media kit for EVA3000 and EVA5000 (HSV100 and HSV110 Controllers)
  • Up to 96 hours battery backup for cache
  • 56 per controller pair maximum disks supported
  • Vraid0, Vraid1, Vraid5 RAID levels
  • Operating system support: HP-UX, HP Tru64 UNIX, HP OpenVMS, Windows 2000, Windows Storage Server 2003, Sun Solaris, Linux, IBM AIX, NetWare, VMware
  • HSV100 controller model w/ controller cache 1.25 GB per controller standard
  • Drive Interface: Two 2 Gb FC-AL ports per controller in redundant pairs
  • Host ports per controller: Dual 2 Gb FC enabled (running at 1 Gb with 1 Gb switches and HBAs)
