The SPARC T5-2 is available with either one or two SPARC T5 processors and is well-suited to business-critical applications, middleware and database workloads.

With Oracle’s impressively powerful SPARC T5 processors providing single-thread and multi-thread performance, the SPARC T5-2 delivers extreme performance and optimization. The SPARC T5-2 provides up to 32 cores and 1TB of system memory in a 3U enclosure.

The intelligent architecture offers more energy and space optimization, which enhances asset utilization while reducing operating costs. Oracle VM Server for SPARC provides built-in virtualization capabilities which allow the consolidation of many servers onto a single machine. And, the SPARC T5 processor includes integrated on-chip cryptographic support that provides wire speed encryption capabilities.
