The EMC Clariion Cx4 Series 480 Model delivers enterprise class storage, enhanced data tiering, ultraflex technology as well as massive scalability and flexibility. Manage your data, reduce operation expenses and help reduce power and cooling costs in your IT environment. Fully Automated Storage Tiering (FAST) is delivered in the CX4-480 so that you can seamlessly move 1GB chunks of data to different disk tiers based on your required performance benchmarks. SATA drives help cut down on power costs and the CX4 also offers drive spin down technology allowing drives to power down when they're not in use. Fan speed is optimized by adaptive cooling to further reduce power consumption.
