A 7U deskside server on casters, the IBM x3800 System x Servers can be converted to rackmount as well. Built on dual-core Xeon MP Processors, the IBM system x3800 servers offer up to 64GB of RAM and up to 12 internal disk drives for a total of 3.6TB of internal storage capacity with an integrated SAS controller.

Uptime is ensured with three hot-swap voltage sensing 775W power supplies and great expansion with multiple 64-bit PCI-X and PCI-E ports and USB ports, SVGA, serial and an RS-485 port.
