Dell PS400 arrays offer a single controller with 2GB battery-backed memory on the base model, or dual controllers with 4GB battery-backed memory.

Hard disk drives: Eight or sixteen SATA hot-pluggable HDDs
Drive capacities: 7,200 RPM SATA II drives available in 250GB, 500GB or 1TB
System capacities: 2TB using 8 250GB SATA drives; 4TB using 16 250GB SATA drives; 8TB using 16 500GB SATA drives; 16TB using 16 1TB SATA drives
Volumes: Up to 256

Memory is actually 1GB per controller not 2GB.

Officially, the largest drive EQL supported was 750GB SATA. The largest possible would be 2TB. SATA disk. Larger than that won't be seen properly.

You can have more than 256 volumes. You can have 512 volumes online, assuming two connections per server. Since the per pool limit is 1024 connections.
