Built to provide data center class IT storage solutions to remote office/branch office and small-to-medium business storage deployments, the Dell PS4100 series is available in a space-conscious 2U chassis with 2.5” or 3.5” drives.

You can combine two Dell Equallogic PS4100 arrays in a SAN group to grow storage capacity and performance. Dell PS4100 arrays offer increased density of up to 50% more drives per array as compared to previous generation Equallogic arrays. Other features include increased security with SAS, NL-SAS and NL-SAS self-encrypting drive options, peer-scaling architecture, and advanced application and platform integration.


Dell EqualLogic PS4100XV 3.5” Array:

  • Max Capacity: Up to 7.2TB in 2U chassis
  • Disk Drives: Twelve (12) 15K SAS hot-pluggable hard drives
  • Disk Capacities: 3.5" 15,000 RPM SAS and SAS SED drives available in 600 GB
  • System Capacity: 7.2TB using 12 600GB 15K SAS disk drives
  • Storage Controllers: Dual controllers with 8GB non-volatile cache
  • Volumes: Up to 256
  • Snapshots: 128 per volume / up to 2,048 total per group
  • Network Interfaces: Two (2) GbE copper, One (1) 10/100 copper (optional management network only) per controller
  • Expansion Options: Can be combined with other EqualLogic PS Series arrays in the same SAN group, online. A maximum of two (2) PS4x00 arrays can be in a group

  • System Capacity: 12TB w/ 12 1TB NL-SAS disk drives; 24TB w/ 12 2TB NL-SAS disk drives; 36TB w/ 12 3TB NL-SAS disk drives
  • Storage Controllers: Dual controllers with 8GB non-volatile cache
