Capable of supporting mission-critical SANs, the Brocade SilkWorm 4900 Fibre Channel switch delivers high availability, high performance, and scalability in compact 2U form factor. It supports full 4 Gbit/sec operations at distances up to 100 kilometers (500 kilometers at 1 Gbit/sec) for business continuance.

Enhanced Brocade ISL Trunking enables a high-speed data path up to 32 Gbit/sec to heighten network performance. The adaptable architecture of the Brocade 4900 supports 1, 2, and 4 Gbit/sec technology with 32, 48, or 64 ports. And, it’s able to expand with your organization with Ports on Demand capabilities.
